A white house by the sea, gulls flying over the water, a little boat with its sail up and a mermaid close to the shore: The Mermaid Cove is my summer daydream, stitched in soft sea blues and sandy neutrals.
I stitched the model on 36 ct Summer Breeze, one of my new hand-dyed linens, and the chart also includes a little pincushion with the same seaside mood. I finished it with Coordinating Shells, my 100% cotton finishing fabric with shells and anchors.
